Elderly people and their accident experiences: Implication for the design of safer and easier-to-use dwellings. In Japan, the 65-years-and-over age group has been rapidly increasing. Satoshi Kose, from the Building Design and Use Division, Building Research Institute in Tsukuba, Japan, discusses dwelling design for elderly people based on convenience and safety of residents.
