Misson and activities:

Our mission is to provide wheelchairs, free of charge, to every man, woman and child in the world who needs one but cannot afford to buy one. We have delivered nearly 50,000 wheelchairs to 89 countires since June 2000. We purchase and deliver wheelchairs in bulk and ship by sea-going container. A container contains 240 new wheelchairs and costs $36,000. Currently we have a matching program wherein we have funds available to pay $18,000 of the $36,000. We are looking for organizations that we can help in their work by paying for one half of the cost of the wheelchairs.

Our organization works at the international level.

Our organization is not run, controlled and represented by disabled people.

We have expertise, or are interested in cooperating with other organizations, in the areas of:

Assistive devices.
Children with disabilities.
Coalition building and networking.
We have cooperated with organizations in other countries before:

Our projects are always the same - the free distribution of wheelchairs. We have done so in 89 coutries, working with such organizations as Mission of Mercy, the Red Cross, Goodwill Industries, Foundations of the First Ladies of various countries, Mercy Ships, Project Hope, the Daughters of Charity, etc.
