Misson and activities:

Samveda is a registered NGO dedicated to the cause of rehabilitating children with Learning Disability and Mental Retardation.

Our organization works at the national level.

Our organization is to some degree run, controlled and represented by disabled people.

We have expertise, or are interested in cooperating with other organizations, in the areas of:

Assisting persons with intellectual disabilities.
Awareness raising.
Children with disabilities.
Education and vocational training.
Independent Living Skills Training.
International development and disability.
Research.
Self-advocacy.
We have cooperated with organizations in other countries before:
We have had a visitor from Spain who worked as a volunteer for six months.
