Misson and activities:

Disabled Peoples' International(DPI) is a network of national organizations or assemblies of disabled people, established to promote the human rights of disabled people through full participation, equalization of opportunity and development

Our non governmental, non-profit, organization works at the international level.

We consider ourselves as part of the international Independent Living and Disability Rights Movement.

Our organization is mainly run, controlled and represented by disabled people.

We have expertise, or are interested in cooperating with other organizations, in the areas of:

Awareness raising.
Coalition building and networking.
Education and vocational training.
Employment.
Independent Living Skills Training.
International development and disability.
Legislation.
Media work.
Peer support.
Research.
Self-advocacy.
Universal design.
Women and disability.

We have traineeships or volunteer positions that people with disabilities are welcome to apply for.
