Kids As Self Advocates

Misson and activities:

Young people with disabilities and special healthcare needs will have control over their lives and futures. This will be achieved through informing youth about their rights, providing peer support and training, and changing systems to include us.

Our organization works at the national level.

Our organization is mainly run, controlled and represented by disabled people.

We have expertise, or are interested in cooperating with other organizations, in the areas of:

Awareness raising.
Children with disabilities.
Coalition building and networking.
Legislation.
Media work.
Peer support.
Research.
Self-advocacy.
Sexuality and relationships.
Teaching adults how to activly include youth with disabilities.
We are youth run.
