The African continent children with disability as been neclected. The children are unable to properly care for themseves.Many have been left with little hope or survivor without some charitable intervention. Norwegian-African Disability Aid Organizationis to help disabled African get back on their feet an become contributing member of their community.We are non-profitable organization which mission is to educate and foster the independent and self determination of people with disability.We believe that every person, regardless of and disability has the protential of being a valuable and contributing member of their community. Our ain is to develop program and service, which will address the needs of disabled children and adult, as well as their famili, through with basic tools such as education, traning and simple equipment with which, they can earn living.
Our non governmental, non-profit, organization works at the local level.
We consider ourselves as part of the international Independent Living and Disability Rights Movement.
Our organization is mainly run, controlled and represented by disabled people.
OUR THREE GOAL ARE:
!) The estabishment of a rehablitation center or adopt existing handicapp school in Africa to train disabled people.
2)The distributing of medical aid and rehabilitation equipment such as
- Educational equipment
- Hair cutting appliances.
- Wheel chair.
3) Development of the adop a disabled person program.
We may be able to refer disabled persons to wheelchair accessible housing or transportation or other services in our city.
We have traineeships or volunteer positions that people with disabilities are welcome to apply for.
Our traineeships or volunteer positions are open to applicants from abroad.
