NGO Bridge of Hope targets the children/youth with disabilities as an individual and as part of society and therefore deals with all aspects of life. However, some key areas have been identified which need special attention based on the perceived needs and priorities of persons with disabilities in Armenia. These include the access to education for all; accessible social services, raising awareness to educate and change public attitudes towards disabled people; lobbying for legislative changes, institutional development of BoH NGO
Our non governmental, non-profit, organization works at the national level.
We consider ourselves as part of the international Independent Living and Disability Rights Movement.
Our organization is to some degree run, controlled and represented by disabled people.
