Middle East Technical University
Known in Turkish as Orta Dogu Teknik Universitesi ODTU, the Middle East Technical University founded in 1956 teaches all courses in English language medium. METU is the first Turkish university to appoint a Disability Support Coordinator. While updating infrastructure on a 50 year-old campus is not an instant task, a multifaceted approach is involving service provision, instruction and particularly consultation with students that have identified themselves as having different needs.
