I have a two bedroomed flat. It is suitable for up to four people, children welcome. I live in Central Brighton, five minutes a way from the hub of city life. My flat is centrally located, with local amenties only a couple of minutes away. I am five mintues from the famous Brighton Pavillion, and the beach is even nearer. The train station is eight minutes away by car, fiteen on the bus. Many buses are now power wheelchair accessible. London is 50 minutes away from Brighton and there is a direct train to Scotland once a day. I am willing to consider anywhere around the world, am very interested in New Zealand, Turkey, but these are not the only places I would like to holiday/visit. My flat/apartment is on the first floor and has lift access to it. I use a manual wheelchair but also have a small powered wheelchair I store in a locked room downstairs, I am lucky to be able to use crutches as well as be a wheelchair user I have a walk in shower, accessible for a wheelchair to be pushed into, or use the built in chair provided. My toilet has grab rails on the wall and my bedroom has a hospital single size electric bed in it. The second room has a double bed it and the the sofa has been used as a bed for a fourth person on many occasions! My lounge is large and roomy, as are the bedrooms, the kitchen is not so well adapted as I have a PA but it is a good size. The building has flat access front and back, it is a secure entry buidling, and there is easy access public transport only two minutes away, I use the buses in Brighton and Hove often, most have ramps in which you can access the bus. Taxis also can be booked which cater to wheelchair users. Please note, I live in a wonderful part of the city that is known as the Gay Village, its vibrant, its colourful and it can be a shock to those who are more conservative in nature, however it is a great place if you are open minded and want to have fun!
