We are very interested to learn as much as possible on the subject of accessibility - particularly the experiences of others in how to change attitudes, set goals, and promote awareness. We assist in operating an adult, disabled computer boarding school, and we have published 3 books in the Thai language - pressure sores; polio; and a children's book introducing Thai public school children to physical
disability. We have cooperated with organizations in other countries before: AusAID, Australia; Rotary Of Amsterdam-West; Embassy Of The Netherlands; Embassy Of New Zealand; Rotary Of Taiwan; American Women's Club Of Thailand; Oxfam; The British Embassy Of Thailand; The Sister Kenny Institute; The International Polio Network. Cooperated on publications, developing a computer school, and disabled access.
We may be able to refer disabled persons to wheelchair accessible housing or transportation or other services in our city.
We have traineeships or volunteer positions that people with disabilities are welcome to apply for.
Our traineeships or volunteer positions are open to applicants from abroad.
People planning to come to our city are welcome to contact us to find out about accessibility and services in Chiang Mai. We may be able to help with information.
