EU Commission scholarships for graduate programme
in Special Education Needs

24 scholarships, 12 specific scholarships for Asian students supported by their governments (6 Indian nationals, 1 Chinese, 1 Malaysian, 1 Thai and 4 nationals from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma/Myaanmar, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka or Vietnam and 12 general scholarships for students from nations outside of Europe.

The Call for applications for the 2006 Erasmus Mundus MA in Special Education Needs is now open and the deadline for applications is 31st December 2005.

The European Commission is funding 24 graduate scholarships worth EURO 24,000, approximately USD 30.000 for 1 year study and 4 scholar/academic scholarships worth EURO 13,000, approximately USD 16,000 for 3 months.

The MA is offered by a consortium of Universities and includes: Roehampton University, London, United Kingdom Fontys University of Professional Education, Tilburg, The Netherlands and Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic.

The students will study at a minimum of 2 of these locations.

Students need to have a first degree either in an Education field or be able to demonstrate in their professional work why they would benefit from this MA programme.
